Untapped

The Untapped Emerging Artists Competition is dedicated to supporting the development of students, new graduates, and self-taught artists. This juried program provides free space and a platform for emerging artists to launch their artwork and make connections within the world of contemporary art.

We’re so excited to work with our Untapped exhibitors for 2025. Please see some details about your space and being in the program below.

YOUR SPACE

The dimensions of your Untapped space will be 1 wall per exhibitor, measuring 10' wide by 11' high. A basic lighting package will be installed prior to your arrival. You will be responsible for hanging your work and installing any additional signage, should you choose to do so. A friendly reminder to review the signage guidelines here.

You are not required to submit a booth design form or pay for lights. If you require an overhead light, or a power outlet, you may do so through this custom booth design form.

UNTAPPED PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD

We will be promoting the Untapped People’s Choice Award throughout the show. This is an onsite only contest, encouraging Artist Project attendees to vote for their favourite Untapped exhibitor. The winner of the Untapped People’s Choice Award receives an automatic acceptance into the 2026 show as well as a $1000 credit towards their booth (along with bragging rights!).
