MEET THE 2025 JURY

Tessar Lo is a Toronto-based visual artist and instructor.

A graduate of the Illustration Program at Sheridan College (BAA 2007), Lo has participated in exhibitions in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Hong Kong, Paris, Tokyo, and in the United States in Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, and San Francisco.

He has also participated in museum exhibitions and programs at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles as well as the Gardiner Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery in Toronto.

Lo has had prolonged stints working in New York, Los Angeles, and several parts of Asia.
He currently shows with Jaski Art Gallery, Amsterdam, and RIVER, Taichung.

Odessa Paloma Parker is an award-winning writer, editor, stylist, educator, public speaker and brand strategist based in Toronto. She is the Contributing Art Editor at Globe Style Advisor, and in 2022, she founded Opaloma, an arts, culture and style editorial platform featuring stories from Toronto and beyond.

Kristofer Sakamoto-Marshall is the Founder, Curator, and Director of the nomadic gallery, The New Other (Toronto). Working with Canadian artists, he aims to create programming, both domestically and abroad, that highlights the diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives present among the country’s demographics.
